A hotel booking does not automatically allow an outside service provider to enter your room. Policies differ between properties, so check with the front desk before arranging an appointment.
Questions for your hotel
- Are outside massage or wellness providers permitted?
- Must visitors register or show identification at reception?
- Are there visitor hours or restrictions on access to guest floors?
- Is equipment allowed through the main entrance?
- Do you need to meet the provider in the lobby?
A simple message to the front desk
“I am considering a private massage appointment with an outside provider. Does your hotel allow this, and what visitor registration or access rules would apply?”
Ask about the specific property where you will stay. Rules may change, and a provider’s past visit does not guarantee access for your appointment.
Share the requirements before confirming
Tell the provider about registration, access hours and equipment restrictions. Agree on a meeting point and allow time for reception formalities. Avoid promising access until the hotel has confirmed its policy.
If outside providers are not permitted
Respect the policy. Ask the hotel about available on-site wellness options or discuss another appropriate setting before making arrangements. Do not try to bypass visitor controls.
Keep your information private
Use the hotel name and general location to check availability first. Share your room number only privately and when necessary for a confirmed arrangement. Do not post room or access details publicly.
